Quill type Tapping Units
Are the operating units of a tapping quill, specifically designed for operations of single and multi-spindle tapping on any material, within the limits of the capacity of the drives.
The operation of the unit is given by an electric motor which, via a pair of toothed pulleys, transmits the rotary motion to the spindle on which is keyed the patron oil bath. The patron saint, steel treated and ground, turning threads into the nut and determines the progress of the tool.
To avoid breaking the males, in the absence of the hole to be machined, has been provided a security system mechanical-electrical, adjustable in function of the effort made during processing.
To speed up the production process, to request the unit can be supplied with a pneumatic or hydraulic quick approach.
